My parents have United Heath for their retirement health insurance which
contracts out perscriptions to Medco. My mom expressed the desire not
to have to carry the whole 90 day supply when she travels. (She takes 8
different Rx and dad has 5.) The customer service rep said that they
would check and see what the pharmacy could do. The next time(s) their
Rx were filled, 30 days were shipped in a smaller bottle along with the
remainder 60 days in the 90 day bottle. Now when they travel, they use
the smaller labeled bottles.
