Perhaps everyone needs to travel with a small metal container with a
hole drilled in the bottom to put the phone antenna thru. Then you can
direct the call to the shore.

I guess I will just have to turn the phone off as we pull away from the
dock. I wonder if the cruise lines will manage to override the nearby
cell phone towers.
