Hi Robert, Two years ago I was on this ship and had a cabin directly
under the pool deck. The inside cabins directly across the hall were
flooded out when the pool leaked. Some water went into the
hallway...not enough to effect us or the hallway. But the folks who had
the inside cabins were not as lucky. And they were never moved (I guess
the ship was sold out). But back to your question....every now and
again we would hear something over our heads. It was a loud vibration.
We seemed to hear it all thru the day, less at night. It took several
days but we finally figured out what it was. When ever anyone dragged a
lounge chair across the floor on the pool deck it made a vibration or
chatter sound. Imagine heavy plastic being dragged across teak flooring
with the steal subflooring carrying the sound. The same thing when
they dragged a chair from one of the pool deck dining tables. Not a
huge problem...just enough for us to say "what is that noise?" for the
first 3 days or so. Other than that we heard the pool band very
faintly. I would have no problem getting this location again.
