Taxi is the most direct and least fretful, but make sure your driver
knows the port you want to go to, which is at 231 Windsor Way
Long Beach, California 90802. Can be really expensive if the traffic
is bad or the driver gives you the "scenic tour."

Limousine service is also available, and if there are a number of
people in your party it can be less expensive than some other ways and
you have the limousine experience. Same challenges as the taxi but a
much more relaxes experience.

Shuttle van (Supper Shuttle, etc.) is somewhat less expensive than a
taxi but can be a hassle as they try to fill the van. For rates see
their web page. Has a fixed price so traffic is not a factor, unless
you are running late. Make sure you are being taken to the Carnival
Cruise Port in Long Beach.

The cruise line transport can be the least hassle, but make sure your
luggage is with you. It can be more expensive than a taxi or a shuttle
van for a party , but you are in the "hands of the cruise line" for
what that may be worth.

The trip can take well over two hours if the traffic is bad, so allow
plenty of time. You need to figure at least 30 minutes after reaching
the gate to claim your luggage at LAX.
