Formal wear on board Posted on: 29 Jan 2007 18:09:55 -0800

I understand there will be two "formal" nights on my cruise. I
really have nothing against dressing up, but for us, the cruise
will be in the middle of a couple of months of traveling, most of
it pretty rustic. I normally bring a sportscoat along on such
trips, in case I want to eat somewhere nicer some nights, but I'm
concerned about anything fancier traveling well.

So... how is the rental service on HAL? I haven't inquired as to
prices yet. Are there gotchas? I also have my teenaged son, and
if I were to buy him something appropriate, he'd grow out of it in
6 months, so I think rental is definitely the way to go for him.
Is this something they can handle?

I expect they're pretty flexible with my wife and daughters? (My
parents are flying direct to the cruise, so can more readily pack
specifically for that.)

Thanks again....
