We stayed at the Hilton Riverside in Jan. '07. Neighborhood was fine,
casino across the street, Mulates seafood restaurant 2 blocks, Nortons steak
house 2 blocks, riverwalk shops adjacent. Your bellman will wheel your
luggage to the ship as you walk the 200 yards or so, and he will meet you at
baggage claim upon return if you wish. Supervised or valet parking is on
site if you drive, about $16.00 per day. French quarter perhaps half a
mile, an easy walk.
