Right!!
So for an 11 day cruise, probably 5 separates (trousers and tops) for
day and 2 for formal nights, and then a couple of more sundresses for
informal wear. A sweater, a couple of bathing suits, some underwear
and some nightwear (or not depending on your preferences), and two or
3 pairs of shoes (formal, walking and beach)
For our last cruise which was back to back and 11 day and a 13 day
Caribbean cruises, we did use the laundry at the end of the first
cruise and washed everything, and I had packed a little more than
usual. I took two long cotton dresses and one fancier outfit which
was a skirt, blouse and jacket for formal nights.. My husband had one
nice jacket and pants, a tie and some shirts for formal and informal
nights. The rest of the time he wore khakis and golf shirts. He
sometimes wore Bermuda shorts but I don't wear shorts and neither of
us wear jeans.
Most of the space in our luggage is taken up with non-clothing items.
