Digital still camera - The cards are pretty cheap. Just take
extras with you. On the cruise I took last year I had a 256meg
SD card, and stored something like 125 pictures on it, with quite
a lot left over. This was a 5 megapixel camera, so your mileage
will vary. The cards are a lot cheaper now than last year, too.
Camcorder - Evidently you have some sort of digital camcorder.
Is this one of the cheap ones that store into internal memory, or
possibly a "cartridge", and expect you to send the image to a
computer? There are two major types of "quality" digital
camcorders: the ones that record on tape cartridges, such as
Digital 8 or miniDV, and ones that record to a rewritable DVD.
Just take extra cartridges or mini DVD/R disks. Don't forget the
charger, and possibly an extra battery - more batteries are
expensive. Just last year I was in Vegas, and discovered I
didn't have any blank tapes with me. The hotel gift shop charged
me for one tape almost as much as I expect to pay for 3 - and I
paid up with a smile.
