I know this has been covered in the past, but I haven't
been able to find any recent posts...
We are considering a late Fall cruise out of San Diego
for the Mex Riveria. Any suggestions on a decent,
modestly priced hotel near the cruise pier for a
two night stay (coming in early)?
Also, we are considering either the Dawn Princess
or the Norwegian Star. I am partial to Princess, but
we've never sailed on Norwegian. I would welcome
constructive comments or criticisms regarding either
line for this itinerary. I would also like to know if
late fall (late Nov. early Dec.) is a good time weather
wise for that area...One more question if I may:
How likely is a first time cruiser on HAL likely
to receive an upgrade from ocean view to balcony?
HAL is my third choice, but they are bit pricey for
my modest means.
