Don't get too excited, The Sheraton Yankee Trader is an old dog that
will probably be torn down, now that it's corporate owned.

The land is far more valuable than the buildings, so they are not about
to put much into the maintaince of this aging
spring break palace!

The Trader was bad whe I stayed there 25 years ago, and is far worse now
with all the new condo hotels coming up around it.

In another few years every block across from the beach will have one
giant gleaming new hotel on it and Ft Lauderdale will shine!
