Hi all
It is just nine days and counting until we leave on the Coral Princess
to Panama Canal and back from Port Everglades.
Of course we are planning an excursion to the Mian Ruins while docked
in Cozumel. At the recommendation of several posters on this board we
have to decided to do this trip through the cruise line. I also one or
two other excursions through Princess at tother ports, as I contacted
the operators and was told to book onboard ship.
We will fly in the day before and will be staying at a beach front
hotel (Sheraton Yankee Clipper) that I was able to get through
Priceline for rates is around 50% of their normal rates. Just
wondering there is near this hotel that me might do in the morning
before we head to Port Everglades.
When returning from the cruise we are flying out of MIA, as I as was
able to get a better fare. We were able to get a weekend special
through Hertz for around $30 for a compact rental car, so will have a
car for the day. Still looking for suggestions for things to do
between Fort Lauderdale and Miami on a Saturday before about 4pm (that
is when we hope to dropping off the rental car at the Hertz location
near the airport).
