The "Gold Coast" of Costa Rica Posted on: Fri, 18 May 2007 14:19:59 +0000 (UTC)

Hopefully more cruise ships will start visiting the Pacific coast of
Costa Rica. It has beautiful beaches, friendly people, and lots of
things to see and do. (For more info concerning the area, visit
http://www.gringoflamingo.com)

Too many people get the wrong impression of Costa Rica, because their
ship stopped in Puerto Limon - which is certainly not representative
of the wonderful country of Costa Rica. (It would be analogous to
forming your opinion of the USA by a one-day visit to Gila Bend,
Compton, or Duluth - not that there's anything wrong with those places
- they're just not representative of the entire country).

If your experience with Costa Rica is limited to a few hours in Puerto
Limon - I encourage you to at least take a look at the photos
scattered throughout http://www.gringoflamingo.com - you'll see that
there more to Costa Rica.
