I have been on several river cruises using Grand Circle. I enjoyed them
all. For the most part the boats are similar across lines since the
size restrictions come from lock restrictions. Although some have cabins
with larger width. I've never seen the use to a balcony on a river boat
especially since the space comes out of the cabin interior.

The convenience of docking locations often depends on the size of the
city. I remember Nuremberg, Vienna, and Budapest as being inconvenient.

Fortunately in all three cases they were a beginning or finish for the
cruise portion. Smaller places like Belgrade or Passau were central.

Pay more attention to the trip, price, and included features.
