XDL U.S. MOTORCYCLE STUNT RIDING CHAMPIONSHIP ARRIVES AT THE QUEEN MARY IN
LONG BEACH, CA, SATURDAY JULY 7

- Queen Mary Experience/Sports (QMX-Sports) and XDL, the only national
motorcycle stunt riding championship, are proud to announce the XDL U.S.
Open, a new blockbuster event at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California,
on July 7, 2007. Event hours are Noon to 10 p.m. and admission is $10
pre-sale and $15 the day of the event. The XDL U.S. Open features an
exciting format that packs in a series of fan-friendly competitions and
shows, qualifications for the XDL Finals, and a concert presenting some of
the hottest acts in Los Angeles.
The top riders in the country will be riding in the XDL U.S. Open, including
15-year-old phenom and 2006 XDL Champion Aaron Colton, 2007 Best of the West
winner Ernie Vigil, and superstar Darius Khashabi.
Headlining the musical portion of the XDL U.S. Open will be Quik, formerly
known as DJ Quik, a platinum hip-hop artist that has worked with some of the
biggest names in the industry and is about to release his first album under
his own label.XDL will also be serving up a few other music industry bad
boys such as Bredrin Daddy's, Loose Logic and J-Hustle.
The XDL U.S. Open will showcase just how much skill and dedication goes into
a professional motorcycle stunt competition and the line-up includes Circle
Challenge (highest number of circles in a minute wins), Sickest Trick,
Target Stoppie (3 different stoppie tests in a limited amount of time),
Freestyle Burnout, Last Man Standing, and Individual Freestyle. As always
$10,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.
The XDL U.S. Open at the Queen Mary is part of a larger partnership with QMX
Sports that will see this magnificent facility turned into the top sport
bike competition venue in the country. XDL will visit the Queen Mary again
for the XDL Finals, and maintain a schedule of at least two major events a
season.
