Many years ago, there was a sitcom called "Laverne & Shirley", and on
one episode, Laverne & Shirley were going on a cruise. They had a bon
voyage party on the ship, and two of their wacky friends, Lenny &
Squiggy, attended. They were exploring the ship, when the captain made
an announcement, that all non-passengers should be "disembarking". Lenny
& Squiggy dropped to the deck of the ship on their hands and knees, and
started barking like dogs, "arf, arf!", "woof, woof!"
Now, what does this matter to the conversation? Nothing, but every time
I hear the word disembark, it reminds me of that episode of Laverne &
Shirley. I just wanted to share. At least I was on-topic.
