Subject: Celebrity Millinium versus Princess Dawn Posted on: Mon, 2 Jul 2007 06:11:59 -0700

We have been given a choice of leaving out of San Francisco on Dawn
Princess for a 10 day inside cruise passage to Alaska and return to SF
in July 2008.

Our other choice is Celebrity Millinium, 14 day cruise, leaving San
Francisco and stopping in Astoria, Or, Seattle and then on to the Alaska
inside passage and return to SF in May 2008.

I understand both ships are old????? and May is not the best month to
travel to Alaska????? and do I want to upgrade to a balcony?????

We are not that familiar with cruising, we are in our late 70's, we can
drive to SF and thar's the reason for these two choices plus it is a
gift..........

Any suggestions from you would be appreciated.......
