I'm so jazzed!
We just booked a dream vacation where we'll visit Spain for the first time,
bid a fond farewell to a legendary 40 year old, and meet her younger
successor.
We'll fly to Madrid mid May, spend 9 days in Madrid & Barcelona, then fly to
Rome for 2 nights before meeting up with the QE2 on her Mediterranean
Treasures cruise in Civitavecchia.
We've booked 2089, which is one of a couple of Caronia cabins slid between
the old first class Queens Grill and Princess Grill cabins on 2 Deck.
(between Midships Lobby and the Pursers Desk)
Livorno/Pisa/Florence
Cannes
Barcelona (We'll meet a new friend for lunch)
Gibraltar
2 days at sea
Then transfer to QM2 in Southampton on June 2 for a westbound crossing in a
hull balcony midships Deck 4.

Anybody have any experience with:
- joining a cruise mid-voyage
- transferring from QE2 to QM2.
