As a former pipe & cigar smoker (now a non-smoker) I can really identify
with this sentiment. I have a curious reaction to menthol cigarettes. I can
sit in a room completely full of pipe, cigar and cigarette smoke just as
happy as a clam, but let one person light up a menthol cigarette and my eyes
start watering and I find it hard to breathe. OTHO, I'll sit downwind of
someone smoking a good cigar just to enjoy the perfume of the tobacco. So,
you can imagine how I feel about anti-smoking policies that declare that
pipes & cigars to be verboten but that cigarettes are just fine.
