Just for everyone's info. Call the location that you are renting from
before you leave the house. I called Enterprise before I left for my
Summer in Arizona and they stated I could rent the car in Mesa, AZ
(any of about 4 locations) and drop it off in Pine Top, AZ with NO
DROP OFF FEE. I stated that I would be renting a car in Pine Top, AZ
for the trip back to Mesa, AZ about 30 days later. They stated NO
DROP OFF FEE.

Well, when I got to Mesa and inquired, because my friend stated he
thought there was a charge, Enterprise stated that there was a $100.00
fee for dropping off the car in Pine Top. Called the Pine Top office
and they stated that there would be a $350 drop off fee if I went one
way back to Mesa.

After going to about 8 different agencies to rent a car I found one at
Avis for under $780 for the complete time. Called Enterprise and they
gave it to me for $649.84, called beathing the price (have AAA, AARP
and a few others that I could use and they gave them all to me). :-)

Was more advantageous for me to rent the car in Mesa for 34 days, for
a total of $650.00 all fees and taxes included. Unlimited mileage as
long as I didn't take the car out of state. So the boys (my two 12
year old grandsons) and I are taking side trips every week all over
the state. The reason that I had to do Enterprise was because they
are the only Rental Company in or near Pine Top.

We are happy campers (yea, camping, we are staying at Holiday Inns all
over Arizona.

See you all in Ohio for the Ohio Bash in August.
