I can fully understand your feelings but in all reality the amount of people
that actually use the DR on port days has got to be minimal. The selection &
quality of food (grim?) at the buffets seem to more than sufficient to hold
most people till the evening meal. As a cost saving measure (and also a few
hours off for some of the crew) I can go along with closing the galley for a
hand full of people even though it might inconvenience a few.
