Perhaps it's because I'm okay (at peace?) with the concept of a bag
gone missing. I've never lost a bag, and while there would certainly
be some inconvenience involved, it's also an opportunity to buy new
stuff!!!! :-)

I don't bring anything with me on vacation that I would be horribly
disappointed if I lost - nothing of sentimental value for sure. It's
all just "stuff". If it's gone, it's gone.
