I respectfully disagree, Joseph...I used to use local T/As for my cruises
before I came here..I have booked just one cruise without a T/A and was
worried the entire time that something would go wrong; fortunately it
didn't...It was one of those cruise auctions they used to have on the
internet ...I don't know if they still have them anymore..Since then, I have
booked with Ray Goldenberg, George Leppla, Lori Cunningham, Cal Ford, Peter
Berlin, Kerry Ambler, Shawn Kilner and Vicki Lanz and I would not hesitate
to book with you and probably will one day..But I have always carefully read
all T/A posts so I could tell just how knowledgeable and reliable the T/As
really were before I booked with them; unless they were already recommended
highly to me by someone who had used them. The T/A that I can trust and
who is truthful is very important to me. Also one who knows my likes and
dislikes and will go to bat for me, watching for price drops. The manner
that they take my phone calls count a lot too.
I can't stand a "pretend to know it all T/A" who makes countless errors, has
taken few cruises but offers unreliable and useless information that
contradicts actual experiences by veteran cruisers here...I mean there are
posters here that have taken 50+ cruises. It is not fair to the newbies who
come here to be given biased and subjective views from some one who posts
just to scam and in a jealously competitive way, making themselves look
foolish.
