Bob... this is incorrect. Your memory is failing you because I can easily
find three postings from 2005 where you stated that the cost was much
less.... and I agreed with you.
On March 14, 2005 you posted: http://tinyurl.com/32sbuc
"The next thing that gave me the incentive was the unlimited internet
use (free) -- which ran $30 an hour on the Tahitian Princess."
Please look at your post on August 7, 2005 http://tinyurl.com/2r8746
"But on Princess ships, it was $30 an HOUR for most ships for a while,
and then some dropped to $22.50 an hour earlier this year."
In the same thread you posted:
"Since you use the internet to post to newsgroups, you mean the
unlimited use of the internet (that otherwise cost $22.50 to $30 an hour) on
Princess cruises are of no use to you? "
(BTW - in the same thread I reported that Princess was selling blocks of 250
minutes for $100... and remember, that was in 2005)
Then, you posted on December 2, 2005 that on the Star Princess the internet
cost was: http://tinyurl.com/2kamr5
"$.35 per minute using the PCs in the internet cafe (for non
Platinum or Elite passengers). That comes to $21 per hour."
Seems that you and I were talking about lower block rates in 2005... long
before 2007. As I posted in 2005, the 250 minutes for $100 was in effect
then.
