We went into that church and there was a woman with a collection plate
and wearing ID inside the church. I gave her a couple of Euros and as
soon as we got further inside, I had a bad feeling and she was gone
when we left the church. It could have been much worse.

We had been with a group at times and one man who has a lot of
experience travelling had had an interesting experience. He was
wearing a hip pack or something around his neck. (I can't remember
which.) There were a couple of attractive young women in their early
20's who had a video camera and looked like regular tourists. All of a
sudden they had his pack open but he was able to catch them.

We took a private tour of the Forum among other places. Our guide
first pointed out a girl about 10 and then a couple of other members
of her family who had a videocamera. Our guide knew them and they were
Gypsies there to steal. Apparently they are trying to blend in more.
