First of all, let's take out the trash. To be called an idiot by someone the
caliber of Charles, who continually proves to be nothing more than a low-end
troll on this newsgroup, is equivalent to being called a red-neck hillbilly
by Larry the cable guy. Even though we all know this is nothing more than
another spin for George, I know many others who consider Charles nothing
short of a blatant ass kisser. Therefore, there is obviously no point in
continuing, at least this part of the conservation, with someone who will
just never get it.
Actually George, now living in Louisiana, you indeed should know what's
happening in New Orleans, more than most of us. In addition, I'm happy to
know that at least you had the foresight to move your group cruise from New
Orleans to Galveston, when it became obvious that your prediction was not
quite that accurate, and this was just not going to work anyway. Likewise,
even though you were overly optimistic at the time in reference to New
Orleans bouncing back, in all fairness to you, no one could have predicted
the governmental corruption and the failures of FEMA.
While I and apparently a few others consider NCL not quite as bad as some
like to paint on this newsgroup, I can certainly understand your
redundancy - especially if sailing from New Orleans. This is almost like a
double-edge sword for you. Yet, I'm sure time will tell.
