If one makes you ill, and the other doesn't... it could either be the
non-active ingredients in one... or possibly even impurities. One active
may be made in China, India or some place like that... where you can get
more impurities (remember the dog food issue). The Pfizer drug could very
well be made in Ireland (with better production controls) for tax reasons.
There are some drugs (Coumadin and Synthroid come to mind) where the
generics can behave very differently from the name brands.
