Subject: Re: Star Princess 810-8/20 on the Baltic Sea---a review (very long) Posted on: Wed, 29 Aug 2007 04:54:18 +0000 (UTC)

Jeff, we did two weeks in Turkey followed by a week in Paris (which is
a major air gateway to Turkey, so a natural trip extension, especially
because we were flying on points, thus able to take advantage of the
"free" layover). It was a fantastic trip, and keeping this on topic,
it included a blue cruise in the Med off the southern Turkey coast. I
plan to post about that experience soon. It was Gilligan's Island all
the way!

I'm with you--we've sampled all the mass market lines now except for
Disney, and our favorites remain Royal Caribbean and Princess. You and
my husband are two peas in a pod. He would've made the same joke to
the spa personnel, and he can't live without his NYTimes crossword!
Now we don't leave home without a laptop (or two or three or four!),
so the provision of a condensed Times is not as important to us as it
used to be.

Thanks, again, for sharing your Baltics trip.

Diana
