Was it the cruise where they made everyone line up along the main deck
to wait to get into the dining room for the chocolate buffet, then
handed you a paper plate and a dirty look that meant "take your food and
get out of here"?

We have never experienced such a rude crew, either. When we came face to
face with a crew member in a narrow passage, we were glared at until
*we* backed up.

Though all of these annoyances didn't ruin the cruise the constant blare
of advertising on the PA and the inescapable noise of the art auction in
just about every inside public area of the ship was enough to turn me
off. Even the gal from the National Park service who narrated the cruise
through Glacier Bay had a book to hawk.

We cruised twice before with NCL in the early to mid 90's and had
delightful voyages, but the company philosophy has radically changed. I
think we've found our niche with RCCL. The last cruise (11 day Panama
Canal)was a total delight. Wonderful crew. Wonderful food. Spotless ship.

We are taking a cruise-tour with RCCL to Australia and NZ next month and
are also booked with a group out of Galveston for a Mexican Caribbean 7
day cruise in February.

Friends we usually cruise with are doing the Hawaiian Islands but they
didn't even call us about it because they know how I feel about NCL.
