Becca, I'm not Doris but have attended quite a few teas...there are teas and
there are teas...I liked the ones on some of the Princess ships where the
waiters wore white gloves and served you the tea of your choice with
cucumber sandwiches, scones and other goodies..They did that on the
Norwegian Sea out of Houston also in 2000..I remember that because it was
our first cruise out of Houston and I really enjoyed that ship. There was a
time that you came more dressed up with no shorts, but anymore, people come
as they are.
Some ships have cookies and sandwiches that are on a buffet table at the
entrance and they come around and just pour your tea. Wish I remembered more
clearly which ships did what but at the time, I guess it was not that
important for me to remember. Cruises have a way of running into each other
after a while! You should try it though as it is a pleasant
experience...just toooo much food especially if you have early seating!
