Hi Ken,
Sorry we missed you at the pier--we could have had a $10 ice cream
cone together in that funny little new snack bar!! We noticed
the Veendam--and it certainly is nice to have her back here again!!
Sounds like you are really well "stacked" for some incredible
voyages!! We'll be on the Gem for her Christmas sailing (12/22/07) and
then the Spirit for B2B next July (8 night Bermuda, Tortola and
Dominican Republic, followed by 6 night Florida/Bahamas). I
agree--the Dawn is amazing and we love her, but the Spirit is just
that much sweeter, with a wonderful , palpable personality all of her
own! We'll miss her this Christmas/New Year's, especially after our
wonderful 12 night Southern itinerary last year. That is what we miss
MOST--we did the 12 night Southern twice (once on the Dawn and once on
the Spirit) as well as a 12 night Western on the Dawn. They are not
running longer holiday voyages at this point--just the one week for
Christmas and the one week for New Year's on the Gem--wish we could do
them both!! Come have Christmas with us on the Gem--it will be fun,
and the decorations and music will be fabulous!!
Bestest,
Peg
