Hey Ken--if the new ships are for you, be sure to book on the
Norwegian Gem at some point. From everything I have heard, she is
going to be incredible!! Of course, we'll do a "pre-check" for you and
post a review after our Christmas voyage. Can hardly wait!!
Star Cruises has done a lot of good for NCL over the years, and the
new partnership with Apollo will only do more!! Soon, they will have
the "youngest" fleet in service, which they are really "pushing",
especially from the on board cruise bookings folks!!
To see "my" Horizon and Zenith painted in Pullmantur white almost
makes me weep. I hate to think of what has happened inside the ships
too. But, such is the "cruise business" these days--and at least both
have found a new "life" for yet a few more years. It will be a very
sad day once they are sent to the breakers. I would prefer a Viking
funneral for both--much like that afforded to the Britannis,
Amerikanis, SeaBreeze and Constitution!!
