Thanks Sue!! Glad to hear that Captain Lekkas is putting some serious
effort into changing his image!! We first knew him as a junior
officer, and while he was exceptionally knowledgable, he was very
stiff and humorless. We heard that being promoted to Master a few
years ago went to his head, and that he was getting into trouble with
the company for being unfriendly to passengers and bossy with the
crew. Celebrity has fired other Masters for far less. More smiling
and mingling, and a little kinder and gentler Captain Lekkas would be
much appreciated by all!!!!!!!
I don't recognize any of the other names--but marvel at the appearance
of female names on the list, and names that are obviously not of Greek
origin. It is about time that Celebrity do more to bring a mixture of
nationalities to the senior staff, and give the talented lady officers
their due!!! Three Cheers!!
