If you are a fan of markets, the Boqueria (entry on Las Ramblas) is a
feast for all senses. When I Googled to remind myself of the name, one
of the first hits was to this article, which offers one perspective
plus a hot tip on a restaurant:

I suggest you wander over to the Barri Gracia for a meal or afternoon
refreshment...it's a bit less-touristed than the Gotic, feels like a
real neighborhood, there are some lovely squares for sitting, sipping
and people-watching.
