On Ocean Princess and Dawn Princess a few years ago (port intensive Southern
Caribbean sailings during Spring Break, so lots of families with kids on
board)... the laundry rooms were empty the first half of the cruise... and
always in use the second half of the cruise (which makes sense). If you
wanted to use the machines, you had to get there early or catch it just
right and take out someone else's stuff and put yours in.... and then if you
didn't make it back exactly on time, your stuff was out with someone else's
stuff already in.
