We do get pretty silly about a glass of wine with dinner here in the US.
I really don't know what the rules are, but we have never had a problem
asking for an extra glass and pouring a bit for our nieces on our family
cruises. I am sure that as long as your group and the kids are not loud
obnoxious drunks, there should be no objections ... other than from
people that want you to raise your kids how THEY see fit.
