Thanks to Everyone for your thoughts and wishes. It did help to get
away for 10 days.

It was during the second day the captain made an announcement (noon time
report - here is where he told us we were in 20 foot seas) that he was
putting out the stabilizers. We were like "WHAT?" Why hadn't they been
out the entire time? No wonder we were bouncing like a cork in the
ocean. I can only assume that the stabilizers use more fuel and thats
why they weren't out sooner?

Liberty of the Seas is a much larger ship than the Carnival Liberty
(Conquest Class). I also bet that Liberty of the Seas had her
stabilizers out since sailing out of Florida where the Carnival Liberty
didn't.
