Tom your cross posting two diffrent posts from two diffrent
threads. I said I've seen other lines make
major changes over the years and I would like to see NCL do the same
thing as
it would give me more options. You left that part out. As for right
now I don't care
for NCL and until they make some changes they are on my do not sail
list.
I will give them another chance just as soon as I hear more people
(whos
opinion I value) say things have gotten better. Not just the same
few die hard
NCL fans saying how much they enjoy it. The cabins are small, the
beds are nothing
more than a cot, the service is awful and the food needs improvement,
the casinos are tiny,
The shows were just ok. So basically everything you go on a cruise
for needs improvement
in my opinion. Freestyle is the only thing NCL has in its favor.
But even that has room
for improvement. Dinner in the main dining room should not take 3
hours every night. But I guess that
falls under poor service.
Also in my opinion Carnival at its worst (20 years ago) was
better then NCL 2 years ago. But those who
have issues with Carnival haven't been on the line in many years and
haven't seen the changes yet still bash it.
I never really had any issues with Carnival. But I can see how its
improved greatly over the years.
Best food, Comfort bedding, Great shows & comics & late night shows,
Large Casinos, Less Announcements,
Good Service, Less Cocktail calls on Deck, Less Smoke inside the ship,
Seaside Theatre.
Of the 13 people who traveled with me on NCL only 4 said they would
return and had a wonderful trip. Those 4
were on their very first cruise. They had nothing else to compare it
to.
The other 9 all said NCL was the worst. I have 3 lines I've been
loyal to over the last decade.
Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess. All 3 have gone thru major
changes for the better and I would
have no issue booking any of them again. Right now I can't say that
about NCL. I would like to be able
to say that in the future. Like I said earlier....I would like to see
them improve. It would give me more options.
I would like to try them again....But I'm not going to settle for
below average.
