I asked my daughter who is an AA pilot this question, and she said no
it is not enough time. She said she was flying a 777 into OHare which
was to get another crew there and the crew she was on was deadheading
back to Miami on another AA flight. She said there was an hour
between the flights. But even though it was perfectly good weather,
OHare was busy and couldn't get the flights landed. Her flight was a
hour late coming in so she would have been worried about making her
flight back home, except that she could hear him in the stack above
her and knew he couldn't leave before she got landed.
