With a 4 year old and 2 year old, my wife and I no longer feel the
traditional dinning is viable until our son has gotten a couple years
older. And the raw logistics of getting the four of us to a fixed
hour of dinning, isn't preferable, for now anyway.
That said, we also don't see any form of main dinning room eating to
be viable for the next couple of years. We aren't sure how things
will evolve during the next couple of years, but we are at least happy
there are Windjammers, and other options we can fit ourselves into.
At the very least, we aren't going to burden a staff with four people,
who mostly don't show up, or table mates, even if we wanted them.
I hope they retain some form of formal dinning. What goes around,
comes around. You never know when the next trend changes the game yet
again.
