Hi Tom,
I know many people do not. I believe I read recently that only about
25% of those going on Caribbean cruises present a passport. Now there
may be more than 25% have a passport but choose to use alternative ID.
It is hard to say. I do know a great many cruisers do not have
passports due to it never being required so they don't go to the
effort and expense of procuring one.
