Top-posting is considered to be poor posting
etiquette, the same as posting in ALL-CAPS or
correcting other's grammar.

What you might wish to consider, is the suggestion
to remove all unnecessary verbiage from quoted
posts, which is in fact, what people are supposed
to do.

Good Usenetiquette is becoming more rare.
