I don't know anything about Carnival or this ship, but we always
prefer the early seating, because that is when we eat at home. I
would always pick early seating.

I've only been back late once, and that was in Bermuda when I'd taken
a ferry from Kings Wharf to Hamilton and we missed the next to last
ferry back that would have been in time for dinner. My fault for not
checking the time. My husband went to eat in the buffet - I went in
late to dinner.

Most of the time, we don't get back late from excursions - I usually
pick early ones, and the meal we are late for is lunch. My energy
doesn't hold out enough for us to get back late. We never go to the
beach. It's not a question of rushing back for dinner. It was
getting back so I could sit down and rest. I like to be back by 4 at
the latest.
