As an agent I have cancelled many cruises. If you are outside of
penalties you get back everything recredited to the method of payment.
If in pnealtiy they will take the penalty and give back the rest. If you
are under full penalty then without insurance you get nothing back.
But yes if you cancel you get back what you are due. Note that some
lines are starting to charge an administrative fee on any cancel. Regent
charges $200 for any cancel after deposit for instance.
