I will be visiting Roatan next month and am wondering what excursion to
take. If any of you have been there, I'd like to hear about your

I've been to Roatan a few times. going to the MASSIVE market is a must. I
must disagree on how far it is from the pier. It's across the street, not a
mile.
My favorite time there I had contacted a tour company. We were escorted all
over the island, spent most of the day at West End Village. which has the
best prices for shopping for international wines I've ever found!
We also ate at a small local a place. You could site on the beach and have
drinks, or walk about 10 foot to the steps that took you right into the reef
system. I'd never done walk-in snorkeling before. It was great!

link. I know it was suppose to cost $15 pp for an all day excursion if we
found more people to fill the van. We didn't, but she still only charged us
$10 and refused a tip. We had a blast together! (if I can't find the link or
company name, once you exit he ship, instead of going right towards the
market, go left. There's a small shack set up that is owned by the tour
company)
