I remember a while back someone was looking for a cruise aboard a
sailing ship. I found this article in The Star-Ledger, Sunday Travel
section (Newark NJ) I'm not sure if this one was mentioned, so here
it is.
The Royal Clipper, operated by Star Clippers. For those who seek a more
intimate and cozy atmosphere, the Royal Clipper carries 227 pax, plus
the ships complement of 106. One of the cruises offered is a 6 day 7
night of the Windward Islands. This cruise departs and returns to
Barbados every other week beginning Nov. 15, 2008 through April 4, 2009.
Ports-of-Call may include: St. Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts,
Illes Des Saintes and Martinique. This cruise is not for people looking
for ice rinks, multiple choice of restaurant and such. Cabins give one
the romantic feel of sailing on the high seas. The cabins are fitted
with brass and mahogany details, oil paintings. The Star-Ledger, Sunday
Travel section (Newark NJ) also reports decent closet space; the cabin
doesn't make one feel claustrophobic.
