When we were looking to book our first cruise we went to a local agency
and they were pushing Carnival, no discussion of any other cruise line.
We walked out of there and found an agency that told us the pros and
cons of all many cruise lines. We went home with a ton of brochures to
see what we thought, this was before we were online.
Carnival has its pluses and minuses and is not for everyone. We had a
fantastic cruise on the Carnival Legend, but it was our last Carnival
cruise. I will try to write a review soon, just gotta get over this
stupid cold first.
I think I was the first or second person to respond to the O.P. and ask
for more information. With out more info it is impossible to say what is
right for them.
I hope that the back and forth between Tom and John has not scared the
O.P. off. I hope Carol will come back and give us more info so we can
help her.
