The only reason I avoid flying, is the security checkpoints. TSA will
not allow me to have a bottle of water, yet I will ride on a plane, that
has hundreds of pounds of mail and cargo sitting underneath me, that has
not been checked at all.
Each of us takes a carry on and a personal bag. My personal bag is a
backpack, and I can pack a lot of clothes in a backpack. Our largest
articles, are men's shoes and underwear. If you are packing 9 pair of
underwear, you are taking up lots of space. You can avoid that by
purchasing travel underwear, or using the ship's laundry, which we do.
