We cruised on her when she was part of the Big Red Boat line out of Port
Canavaral back in the 80s. She really wasn't a "cruise ship". She was an
ocean liner as so many were back then. Most of our early cruises from
the 60s to the 80s were on that type of ship. They still treated us as
VIPs rather than as 'cash cows'.
