Does the Arctic Circle one do North Cape? If it doesn't go to North Cape,
then I don't think Arctic Circle by itself is anything worth doing. I'd
much rather do Iceland in that case, though I suspect that Iceland is way
too much to see in just 1-2 port days. My guess is you need 8-10 days in
Iceland, just like we needed 12 days to see Norway. On the other hand...
better to have 2 days in Iceland than none.
Just understand that it's a very different vacation than a Caribbean or
another warm weather sailing.
If you do pick a North Cape sailing, I can give you the phone number of the
people in Honningsvag we used. It's much cheaper than the ship's excursion,
and it got us there WAY before the huge crowds rolled in.
I'd bring the laptop. I'm glad that I did.
