Sue,
Thanks for the feedback and perspective. It is indeed interesting to hear
just what conditions are like where other people live. Yet, hot or cold,
snow or sun, rain or shine, put us all on a cruise in the Caribbean, and
we're all in the same boat - sort of speak. It kind of levels out the
playing field, at least for a week or so.
Likewise, a bit beyond hindsight, we do get comments on occasion, that here
where we live, we really don't have any seasons. Some claim they would miss
that. Yet, the way I look at it is, if I wanted snow, within an
hour-and-a-half drive, I could be up in the snow... as well as the desert,
or big trees, etc. We are already at the ocean. At least to me, if I wanted
snow, I would have no problem going up to it, instead of it coming down to
me.
Yet, it's all what one likes and/or gets use to. Yet, no matter what, put us
on a cruise and that perspective changes.
